About

“And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.” Job 42:10.

"Watching Him Fade Away" is about a lonely troll who befriends a dandelion, but the troll is unaware of the limited time he has with his friend because, as the seasons change, the dandelion also turns into a "puffball." When the troll is returning the dandelion to his home one day, a gust of wind hits it, and all of his seeds begin to disperse over long distances. The troll is saddened because he believes he is to blame for his friend's disappearance. He has no idea that the seeds that have scattered around his house will result in many more dandelion friends. This project's goal was to tell a story with six still images and two posed characters. Using C4D and 3D Coat, I sculpted, modeled, textured, and rendered each asset and composition.
